A Kent man charged with promoting prostitution forced 15- and 16-year-old girls to work for him, beating them and seizing all their earnings, police said Friday after a sting operation on Pacific Highway South. Christopher I. Hutton referred to girls as “bitches” and told them he could “see money” in them, according to documents filed recently in King County Superior Court. Prosecutors charged Hutton, 34, with two first-degree counts each of promoting prostitution and attempted promotion of prostitution. He and an associate, Michael Veidt of Spanaway, were charged with first-degree kidnapping. Veidt, 25, also was charged with second-degree rape. A 15-year-old girl told police Veidt raped her in Hutton’s apartment after Veidt forced her into a car driven by Hutton on Aug. 29. More : seattlepi.nwsource.com |
