Former Carlisle Youth Minister Arrested For Sexual Assault

Some of you know that the month of April, “Sexual Assault Awareness Month.” Throughout the month, my blog, I will focus on a number of topics related to sexual coercion / abuse of consciousness. Nevertheless, I wish to dedicate this blog to our wonderful volunteers who donate their time and help, energy, victims / survivors and their well-loved by people who are affected by sexual coercion / abuse Washington and Hancock counties.

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, we often forget the importance of volunteer work is essential for our community. The volunteers give their time and energy to participate in the training, intended to cover our 24-hour crisis and support, posters in the cities, on donations of actions and events accompany victims to the hospital or the court. Last year, our volunteers have donated more than 14000 hours of service. Care and compassionate Community Volunteers are the heart and backbone of Down East Sexual Assault Services, as for many other non-profit groups.

We, the staff members of the Down East Sexual Assault Services, wants to say “thank you” to all of our volunteers for a difference in the lives of survivors and the community we serve. We appreciate your commitment and the victim would not be able to do what we do without you.

Activities promote awareness during Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Sherman man arrested on sexual assault charges
