Out of the frying pan and into the fire is a fitting description of how teenage girls generally get into prostitution. By escaping one crisis such as abuse in the home, they end up at the prey of men who have made a profession out of grooming girls to sell sex. But a study of how the girls try and return to normal life (see links on the right hand side) suggests many of them fail because they see themselves jumping back into the frying pan.
