Boys Charged With Threats To Accuser In Sex Assault

Two teen-age boys have been arrested and charged with threatening to harm a 14-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted during a party in December if she continued helping the authorities investigate the case, officials said today. They said the boys, 15 and 16, confronted the girl in a Ridgewood High School hallway on Jan. 3, apparently as students were changing classes, and tried to intimidate her. ”There were threats to her physical well-being if she continued to cooperate with the investigation,” said Charles R. Buckley, the Acting Bergen County Prosecutor. Officials would not say exactly what was said to the girl, a freshman at Ridgewood.
